Happy Acre Amphitheater

Completed in 2017, our outdoor pavilion, Happy Acre Amphitheater, is our newest feature.  It is dedicated to Pat's parents John & Dorothy Cessna, who lived and farmed Happy Acres Farm in northern Illinois for more than 50 years.  Happy Acre Amphitheater is 24 x 24 feet (576 square feet).


The Tree House

Our 320 square feet Tree House is typically rented as a guest room (to literally sleep within the tree tops), but the screened in space and adjoining outdoor decks can be transformed for small gatherings and events.

​Meeting Room

The Meeting Room/Nature Center is a multi-purpose room that our guests can use to enjoy many different things here at Peace of Earth. Half of it is filled with hands-on displays, and is where we start our programs with children when we have school/youth groups visit.

This Meeting Room can be set up for meetings, receptions & retreat groups with tables and chairs, or a Game Room, with ping pong, foosball, darts and even a small putting green.

Guest Bath House

Our Guest Bath House features two full bathrooms with walk-in showers for overnight guests and four half-baths suitable for visitors attending events and programs.

Wow... we can’t thank you enough for providing the perfect place for us to bring Elaina’s fairy tale to life. Bobby and her chose the perfect place for it. Rustic, country, comfortable, and still very elegant at the same time. Your cabins and rooms are absolutely perfect. The rooms in the lodge itself are so cozy and decor is so welcoming. Everything was so clean! And the food was amazing!!! You two went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate it. I can’t imagine the wedding happening anywhere else.
